Toni Lisa Brown grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia and was influenced chiefly by the 50's and 60's. She has two Masters degrees in Speech Pathology and Interior Design. At almost 40, GOD made it clear to her that she is a writer. This clear knowledge produced the book Awakenings. The experience that had the most impact on her life was her 20-year battle with severe clinical depression that decimated her for months at a time. Her book AWAKENINGS details this struggle and the triumphant miracle of GOD's supernatural healing. Toni Lisa's great joys in her life are her love of GOD, social discourse, photography, painting and writing.
